Sugarcane Restaurant
Featuring a large pool looking across the channel toward Tortola and a surrounding terrace with sun loungers, umbrellas and poolside tables, the restaurant features all day dining with an extensive wine and cocktail list as well as a bar menu with a selection of beer and snacks.
Named after the original plantation upon which it sits, the Sugarcane restaurant in Nail Bay is a Virgin Gorda treasure that has returned with new appeal. In view of a Caribbean seascape, our much-loved hub of local spirit and island dining is alive with activity, great food and plenty of laughter.
During the day, this is a place to catch rays, swim and relax over long lunches of freshly-caught tuna seasoned with homegrown herbs. In the evening, our gardens light up, the rum cocktails flow and heels are abandoned on the soft sandy floor.

Nail Bay, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Located on beautiful Virgin Gorda, is a Caribbean island in the British Virgin Islands. It’s known for the Baths, a labyrinth of beachside boulders forming a series of pools and seawater-flooded grottoes. White-sand beaches nearby include Spring Bay and Devil’s Bay, plus Savannah Bay farther north. In the island’s mountainous north, trails lead up Gorda Peak to a lookout tower with views of the scattered surrounding islets.
